Abigail Tettey is a Research Assistant on the CocoaSoils Project in Ghana. Prior to assuming this role, she worked in a similar role with the Soil and Irrigation Research Center, University of Ghana. During this period, she oversaw field and screen-house trials that generated data to support the development of Weather Index Insurance packages for farmers in the Northern Region of Ghana. Abigail holds a master’s degree in Soil Science from University of Ghana. She is interested in research and development of sustainable soil management practices that can be used to restore soil health and fertility, improve agricultural productivity and food security.
